Speaker Bio: Stephanie Kingsford, MAcc, CPA, CFP

Stephanie Kingsford is an Associate at Womack & Associates, LLC in Huntsville.  Previously, she worked for Beason & Nalley, Inc.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration degree from the University of Alabama in 1996.  She received her Masters of Accountancy in 1997 from The University of Tennessee.  Stephanie is a CPA and CFP.

She holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Stephanie previously served on the Board of Directors for the Huntsville Chapter of AFWA.

Ms. Kingsford specializes in individual tax services.  She also has business tax experience.  She has taught the beginning individual income tax course at UAH and presents tax updates at several AFWA seminars and other professional group CPE meetings.

Save the Date: Feb 11 is a 2 hours Ethics CPE meeting with IIA

To allow CPA’s to earn 2 CPE hours for the new annual ethics requirement for the 2020 reporting year, AFWA will hold another joint meeting with IIA on February 11 at Redstone Federal Credit Union.  That lunch meeting starts at 11:00 AM as it will be a 2-hours CPE lecture. Partial CPE credit is available if you are only able to attend for 1 CPE hour.  So mark your calendars for that date too.

Huntsville Botanical Garden’s Firefly Night Hike

(2 miles hike with S’mores)

WHERE:  Meet in the Boeing-Toyota Amphitheater

(First parking lot immediately to your left as you enter the Garden)

This is a social event for AFWA members, friends, and family.  Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a flashlight as you explore the Garden at night with the group.  We will roast s’mores as a mid-way snack and view the new Gardens of Myth creatures specially lit for night-time viewing.

Optional: You may bring a clean, dry plastic jar with lid for a firefly catch and release moment.
